What a GREAT idea!!

i got this from mom a few days ago and thought it was wonderful that we (the Ford Family) have begun the move into the 21st century -

"Gloria called a few weeks ago and asked if we would email her our pertinant info...ie. address, email, ph # and some info about our family that we would like to go into a family "newsletter" in lieu of trying to get each family up at the reunion to give us an update and the rest of us not being able to hear most of it. I think it's a great idea and I thought you'd each want do your own thing. If you don't then let me know and I'll add what I can to mine. Please do it soon, as Gloria wants to have it ready to take copies to the reunion which is July 18 this year. Her email address is... jimford8@netzero.net

We’re staying busy with our little brood! 2 girls and 2 boys – the score is tied! Abi will be 8 the end of Oct. and baptized sometime in November; Elyssa turned 6 this last April and is loving Kindergarten; Ammon (yes,like the Book of Mormon missionary) will be 4 the end of September but won’t start preschool until next year, he stays busy driving me crazy and practicing using the toilet; Easton will be 2 the end of August and currently has about 10 words … not many but he signs (ASL) a LOT! We are living in Everett, WA and loving our ward and school – we’re doing great and would love to have visitors! We also maintain a blog – www.iamemilyshaw.blogspot.com – check it out! but since i sent that ... i've been thinking that we need to somehow get all that info that people are sending to Gloria onto this here BLOG!! so i'm sending her another email right NOW to ask her to put in a plug for our Leo Ford Blog and to suggest that each family do likewise - make a blog for their family! brilliant - i know!

so here's what i sent her:
"Hey Gloria – we (the Leo Ford Fam) have a blog that we’d love for you to “plug” for us in the newsletter and also we’d LOVE to have you suggest that each of the originals families get together their collective computer nerds and start a family blog and share it with us! We are kinda nerdy - we know - but it’s been a great way to stay up to date with each other and think it would be a great fun thing for the WHOLE Ford Family!
