I setup a skydrive for us ... and uploaded my own, Laura's, Jake's and Fleet's pictures so far. I will be adding Matt's, Kiley's and Mindy's soon ... so far we have almost 2GBs of pictures there!

The Underground Reunion

All of us sorry saps ( speaking for myself) who didn't get to go to Seattle, decided we still wanted to get together somewhere a little closer and within our budget. The first place we chose was full of Rattlesnakes, so last weekend we convened on Oak City Canyon. (which was really great for me being only 25 min. away !) As we were sitting around the fire one night discussing the Reunion someone mentioned that the real reunion was in Seattle and that this one was the underground reunion hence it's name. Anyway we had a great time and missed those of you who went to the real reunion. Hope you all had a great time also. I thought it might be fun to share a few picture's, enjoy.

We got away with only one minor injury, Kaylin ( i'm not sure how to spell her name) met my fifth wheel hitch up close and personal running through the dark playing kick the can with the kids. It took 3 staples to close the wound.

more shirt design ideas

not that I think we are pigs in anyway...I guess I should explain the "market" and piggy...the Pike Place Market is a favorite of tourists and we'll be spending the day there for activities and what not...so that is why the reference to the market...the piggy is in reference to the bronze pig in the center of the market...(she has a name that escapes me at the moment)...but last year they had pigs all over the city decorated differently and called it 'pigs on parade'...there you go...I guess I could do one with something about "spuds fish and chips" too...still working on it...

note: the shirt design will be printed on t-shirt transfer paper and be 8 1/2 inches across-for the chest of a t-shirt. the background WILL NOT be white as shown...we'll cut around the words and the background kind of "melts" into the fabric so just the design will show...choose a light colored t-shirt (I got yellow for us and our kids) anything really...just not navy or black so that it will show up...it takes just minutes to iron them...

I've been fiddling around tonight...what do you think...seriously I'm open to whatever criticism, or suggestions...and I don't have access to the actual fonts that I want to use so I will want to change them...

the "Fords on the Market" is in reference to Pike Place in Seattle...

I can print them and bring them, I think I'll just do them in black so that they can go on whatever color t-shirt you want to bring.

For those of you who aren't able to come to Seattle, I'll be in Utah at the end of the month and I'll bring the print to you...family unity and all...go team!

Mindy wanted to say that we will be having some water time in the lake so please BRING YOUR SWIMMING SUITS AND TOWELS :)

Hotel and Car rental Rates

I tried to find the best rates on hotel and rental cars close to mom's house. Rental cars are pick up at the air port. All rates are based on Aug. 7-10th (I just did a rough estimate of how long people would be here). As far as car rentals go suvs I'm hearing are cheaper than vans right now and ya'll might want to go in together on bigger cars. Let me/us know if you have questions, post comments on here and I will check them as often as I can through out the day. Love you all, hope this helps.

Reunion Attire

Shirts, I'd like to make a shirt iron on that we can have for the reunion, kinda like the one I made for Mindy's a couple years ago...I'm thinking up a design...thinking thinking thinking....
Anyways, I'll print them for whoever wants one, or two or three...and we can just iron them on a shirt that you can bring with you...it will be a black design so it can go on most colored t-shirts, not black or too dark...
More to come on this later...

i got this from mom a few days ago and thought it was wonderful that we (the Ford Family) have begun the move into the 21st century -

"Gloria called a few weeks ago and asked if we would email her our pertinant info...ie. address, email, ph # and some info about our family that we would like to go into a family "newsletter" in lieu of trying to get each family up at the reunion to give us an update and the rest of us not being able to hear most of it.
